Technical Support
The technical support position involves processing of requests
for the Online Policy Groups's free Internet services, such as
email accounts, email lists, website hosting, and domain
registrations. Some technical support staff also focus on
technical consulting, educational training, and refurbishing
of donated computer equipment. We use the Request Tracker (RT)
application to track progress on task resolution.
We provide certifications at three levels for each task activity.
Experience with word processing, email, and web browsing required.
Experience with Request Tracker or another task tracking system preferred.
This position is a great way
to learn more about technology or to apply your existing skills
for a worthy cause which produces direct results in the communities
we serve.
