Francis Ho As a graduate of UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Francis is ultimately striving for any sort of fulfillment, so he will continue his education at the University of Texas School of Law, Volunteer (June 8, 2003)

Alayna Smith Alayna -- a Bay Area native who returned after a brief stint in Los Angeles for college to Oakland with her partner, two guinea pigs, and a whole bunch of fish (contained in a tank) -- appreciates clean(er) air, down-to-earth people, running, hiking, gardening, practicing roller-blading, and learning to play the guitar, Grant Writing Intern (October 2, 2002)

Frédéric Boisnard While not spending time with his friends, laughing, hiking, coding, being lazy/doing nothing, and drinking coffee, Frédéric is a French student enrolled at the University of Paris 7 Denis Diderot who will graduate in 2003 in mathematics and computer science, Web Programmer Intern (June 3, 2002)

Mic Westcoat Mic is a San Francisco resident who graduated in 1999 from Caltech with a B.S. in Economics and Engineering, Website Administrator Volunteer (May 28, 2002)

Mitch Altman Mitch lives in San Francisco, focusing his time and energy and talents on attempting to make the world around him a better place to be which currently includes helping non-profits using computers as a tool to further their work, Volunteer (March 29, 2001)

Alex Marthews

Brought up in Oxford, England, Alex studied English literature and graduated in 1999 with a first-class degree (99th percentile) from St. John’s College, Cambridge, and graduated in May 2001 from the graduate school of public policy at the University of California, Berkeley, developing an interest in government and human rights and co-authoring reports analyzing the costs of the US “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and the admission of gays and lesbians to the British military for the Center for the Study of Sexual Minorities in the Military at the University of California Santa Barbara, Research Coordinator (March 21, 2001)
