Research: Online Service Provider Assessment Project: Methodology: Recruitment Letter

The Online Policy Group has contacted me asking for volunteers to help with an important research project. They are trying to find out whether major online service providers are fair, accurate, and inclusive regarding a variety of content topics and constituent communities. It’s a great chance to get to know how online service providers work, and to do something useful at the same time!

I’ve sent an email to the whole list, rather than specific people, to make sure that the researchers are chosen objectively (in other words, I’m not just emailing the people I think the project would appeal to most).

If you’d like to become a researcher for the Online Policy Group, and if you can spare at least 4-6 hours per week to do the research, please fill out the researcher application at http://www.onlinepolicy.orgnullmethrecruitapp.shtml

Sincerely,

Revision 1.100 of February 2, 2001
